I'm taking a break for Christmas, from the Mama's Hip!
I've been blogging so much the last few weeks, and my Facebook addiction needed addressing too, so I'm officially taking a step back from both. My boys need to see more than the top of my head, and Charlie's been asking me to put the laptop away a lot, so I know I need to relax off it!
I'm going to recover fully from this flu, eat lots of nice food, improve my cocktail-making skills starting with White Russians this evening, wrap presents, prepare for Santa's arrival, enjoy my boys and watch lots and lots of lovely films, starting with National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Have a peaceful and Merry Christmas, or Hannukah or Holidays, or whatever you celebrate, wherever you are, and may all your wishes come true.
A sincere thank you to all my readers old and new, your support is fantastic, and I still marvel that there are people out there happy to read whatever I write, that is really amazing.
To my North American readers: I've stayed off the topic of the tragedy in Conneticut, but it has been on my mind and in my heart recently. I have no words for it, just sending vibes of love to all affected by this monstrous event.
I'm sure I'll be back before the New Year, just taking a few days official leave, so see you all soon!
