Cook with me! Chickpea burgers

I thought I'd share my recipe for chickpea burgers, it's so easy it's a no-brainer. Chickpeas, onion, egg, breadcrumbs and seasonings. You could substitute any beans or lentils in place of the chickpeas, or do a mixture. You could add mashed potatoes or any other vegetables to it too. I've even been known to rinse off a tin of baked beans to use as beanburgers.
This is a great recipe to have for quick cheap meals that look more impressive than they really are. Make them small and eat in pittas or wraps with salad. Make them big and eat in burger buns. Make them sausage-shaped and you have veggie hot dogs. They freeze well cooked or raw. Make them vegan by using oil in place of the eggs.
This recipe would feed 4-6 adults.
